A Chinese bronze scholar’s utensil vase in the form of an arrow vase, with compressed body, cylindrical neck and tubular handles, the top of the neck and handles cast with key-pattern.

Provenance: Hugh Gordon Lowder (1888-1978) who worked for the Chinese Maritime Customs Services in Shanghai 1908-1914 and 1918-1940.
